Here it is--a new look for TG.Far2go.net. The website now uses the Joomla content manager -- because it makes my life easier -- and we get the new look as part of the deal! I hope you like it -- I'm not going back unless I absolutely have to.

You will find a number of new features; I'm just not sure I know what all of them are. There is a font size adjuster at the top right of each page. You should no longer have to enter one of those funny looking codes when you leave comments, provided that you register and log in first. Mostly things should work just like they did before. I'm sure you will let me know if they don't...

I should say a little more about the comment feature. The new comment software actually creates a mini-forum for each article. You can post new comments or reply those left by other people. I do still review everything that is posted before I make it visible to the public, because there is a potential liability issue if I don't. I don't censor comments, however, simply because I don't agree.

If you registered with the site previously, your username and password should still work. Mine do, and I take that as a very good sign. If not, try telling it you lost your password and let it do whatever it does then.

One major new feature that you don't need to do anything about is "Search Engine Friendly" (or "optimised"--SEF/SEO) URLs. The old software had this feature too, but it didn't work on my web server. Now it DOES work, and you should be able to find things here more easily in the future using your favorite Web search engine, because each page now has its own distinct URL instead of just "/cms/index.php." I'd be confused to, if everybody had the same name. The old URLs do still work, just in case you have saved links to any of them. I know I have.
